on relevant terms.
Introduce them to the subject of careers paths by
having them take an online career
questionnaire. This activity will get them thinking about personal career
choices.

two occupations to research on the Internet. Review the use of search
engines. Students are to find specific information related to the following
subtopics: preparation, current demand, work
environment, and average salary. Review words that may be new to them
(pre-test terms). 2. Explain
the use of a graphic organizer to record information. Provide the students
with an outline of a graphic organizer for recording their findings. 3.

create graphs using specific data. The students will use the data collected on
their chosen occupations to create a graph based
on average salaries. Students that understand this program well or have prior
experience can work as mentors to others. Culminating
