                             3-Meaning clear; effective descriptions; good

                             4-Complete sentences; correct tenses; good word

Score of 3           1-One idea, but unnecessary information;

                                    developed well; mostly relevant

                             2-Logical, but incomplete order; weak transitions

                             3-Meaning evident; some descriptive and figurative

                                    language

                             4-Mostly complete sentences; mostly correct

                                    tenses; good word order; agreement for

                                     capital letters, punctuation

 

Score of 2           1-Incomplete development; partially relevant

                             2-Illogical order; lacks trasisitons; weak conclusion

                             3-Meaning unclear; little description; little figurative

                                    language

                             4-Some complete sentences; frequent errors in

                                    tense; word order question; mostly agreement

                                    for capitalization and punctuation

 

Score of 1           1-Not related; no development

                             2-No main ideas; no organization; not enough to

                                    evaluate

                             3-Inadequate vocabulary; not enough to evaluate

                             4-Weak sentence rules; many tense errors; poor

                                    word order; poor agreement for capitalization

                                    and punctuation
