You are about to embark on a radical journey to discover what the "The naturalist school" of Paris of the mid-1800"s was to mean to modern art .
During a search of the World Wide Web, using museum and artist sites as primary sources your are to prepare a Powerpoint presentation with a partner. Your presentation will express the artistic style and historic facts of what we call the "Impressionistic Period."
Your Mission
This lesson web site is your home base for research
and creation of your PowerPoint presentation. At this site you have a
reference point for questions, artists, examples of art, grading guidelines
and timelines for activities. Time within the computer lab is limited,
therefore maximize your talents and creativity, you have approximately
seven hours to create your presentation. It is suggested that music and
narration become homework.
Our class will share our PowerPoint Projects on the fifth day within the computer lab to each other, grades will be based upon the Your Grade page, be sure to check out the rubric for clarification.
