A Quick Look at what the teacher is REALLY planning...(Yes, you can actually take a look. These are straight out of the Lesson Plan Book.) Activities
2. Explore 20 Kid Pix tools and options and give practice with each one. 3. Explore "Top 10" ways to enhance projects with graphics (include tools, backgrounds, clip art, cutouts, maps, and pull-down menu items). 4. Students will select topics and begin planning process for slide show. Students will find use internet search skills to find lists of Newbery and ALA award winning books and select book to present. 5. Introduce Script Worksheet, Storyboard and Rubric to be used for final assessment 6. Have students view "How To Make A SlideShow" from Kid Pix Resource disk. 7. Develop plan for slide shows using storyboard and script worksheet. Begin producing slides. Have "mini shows" where students can demo their successes. 8. Add sound to productions. Explore using sounds included in the program, student recorded sound clips, text read alouds, background music, and student recorded text options. Culminating
