US HISTORY--Everyday Life in the Dust Bowl

WHAT WAS IT REALLY LIKE?

Ordinary  people in an extraordinary time!
Welcome
Ever wonder what life was like during the different periods in history that we study?  Lucky for us, FDR's New Deal programs gathered and saved accounts of what happened to the people.

Your Mission
You will research and compile your own reports on the lives of different people.  In the process you will come to know what people went through during the Great Depression in the area known as the Dust Bowl.  You will produce a newspaper depicting the lives of people and what happened during this pivotal time in US history.

Open the "Activities" Link and the search for truth begins.

Important: The rubric that explains the requirements for this project can be found in the "Your Grade" page.
